To receive the optimum performance from your
equipment, please make sure you select the correct tripod for your unit. Two
considerations when selecting a tripod are the type of dish you will use and how you will
use the tripod.
In Figs. 1 and 2 below, we show the two types of tripods we provide, standard and
heavy-duty, and the types of dishes each will support.
We recommend using ONLY our heavy-duty tripod if your intended use is year-round exposure
to extreme weather conditions, such as ice and snow. Otherwise, follow the recommended
applications in the figures below. Please note: The dishes shown below are intended to
serve as an indicator of the size and style of dish that each tripod will support. If you
have any concerns about your particular dish application, please email
us with the Make and Model of your dish.
H&G STANDARD-DUTY SATELLITE DISH TRIPOD
Supports the dish styles shown, that have 1 5/8" diameter mounting masts up to 23" max. diameter.
